Christmas lights can be a real pain to plug in, as the outlets are never in convenient spots.  Consider using a timer to have them automatically turn on and off when you wish to enjoy them.

Think you have a remote control for everything?  Well think again!  You can even purchase a remote control for your holiday lights!  A small outlet adapter plugs into your outlet and a small remote then controls the items plugged into that outlet.  Its great to avoid bending over in funny places to plug in the Christmas lights!

One of the greatest displays of the season are Christmas lights.  With advances in technology, now is a great time to invest in a new set of lights.  Lights should be inspected every year, and replaced every few years.  Light emitting diodes, or LED lights, offer a bright, bold light, that is 88% more efficient than incandescent lights.  The small investment will save you money in the long run, as they will cost less to operate.
