Don’t leave items unattended outside a donation center. Make sure they are open and accepting donations when you leave your items. Doing otherwise may
be seen as “dumping.” Dumping is illegal in most states, and most donation centers now have cameras to catch illegal dumpers. To be sure you aren’t dumping, find out the donation center’s business hours before you head out to donate.
